Can I use Salonized on my PC / tablet?
You can access Salonized on every device, such as a PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone. You can even access your account simultaneously on multiple devices. There are no requirements for your devices, but a device younger than 5 years is preferable.
Am I required to buy special hardware?
The only requirement for using Salonized is a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, and an internet connection.
We don’t deliver special hardware such as a receipt printer, barcode scanner or cash register, but we are happy to give you advise about suitable hardware.
Are there other costs such as a start-up fee?
No, besides the monthly payment for your subscription there are no extra costs. It is however possible to pay extra for credits for the SMS reminders (between 11 and 15 cents).
How long would my contract last?
We don’t believe in long term contracts. We only want happy customers. Therefore, you can unsubscribe at any moment. Your subscription will end directly at the end of the period you paid for.
Is it possible to work with Salonized without an internet connection?
No. Salonized operates in your browser and you therefore need an internet connection.
Can I import data from old programs?
Yes. If you are currently working with another salon software package, you can easily import your customer database and product lists into your Salonized account. We would be happy to assist you.
Can I simultaneously log in on multiple devices?
Yes, you can access your account on multiple devices at once. After 12 hours of inactivity the software automatically logs off.
Is there an app available?
There is no app available, but Salonized does offer a mobile version. This mobile version is a concise form of the web version and provides access to your schedule and customer database. With the mobile version you can easily manage your schedule from every location.
Can I use Salonized to directly declare invoices?
No, it is not possible to directly declare invoices through Salonized. For this you need a separate accounting program.
Can I use Salonized to manage my complete bookkeeping?
Salonized is not a complete accounting program. You can export all necessary data for your bookkeeping (such as day totals and invoices) in different formats and send these to your bookkeeper or import them in your accounting program. For your invoices, timesheets and VAT return you need a separate accounting program.
Can I connect a receipt printer?
Yes, it is possible to connect a receipt printer to our salon software. After checkout you can automatically print a receipt for your customer.
Can I connect a payment terminal?
No, Salonized is a web based program and we therefore cannot connect a cash dispenser. It is possible though to select multiple payment methods. On the cash dispenser you can then manually fill in the amount.
What are the possibilities with a mini website?
The mini website is specially developed by a top designer and you can use it for free. It is a basic website where customers find the most important information about your salon, such as your products and services, opening hours and of course the online appointment feature.
Can Salonized be used for multiple locations?
Yes, you can use Salonized at different locations of your business. You can connect these accounts and as admin you can easily switch between your accounts.
We can also import your product lists and customer database into your accounts. Unfortunately, we cannot synchronise these data.
Is my data secure?
Yes, the Salonized database is separated from the regular internet and only our application has access to the database. We make a backup frequently to prevent the loss of data. Also, we would never access your data or give data to third parties without permission.
